IWC Schaffhausen adds four new models to its Pilot’s Watch collection: the Big Pilot’s Watch Annual Calendar Edition “Antoine de Saint Exupéry”, the Big Pilot’s Watch Heritage, available with a case in either titanium or bronze, and the Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII Heritage. After having presented you the watch dedicated to Antoine de Saint Exupéry, today, let’s discover the two Big Pilot’s Watch Heritage alternative models.
The Iwc Watches & Wonders Replica Da Vinci Automatic Edition “150 Years” is 40.4mm broad and 12.1mm thick in a steel case, with a water-resistance of 30m — even though it is clearly not a sport watch, something designed as a daily wear like this could have perhaps had a little better water-resistance score as a guarantee of overall durability. The palms are rhodium-plated, and date-haters will not have that to whine about here, as IWC has chosen to omit a date display. The 82200 motion has become the most notable element of this IWC Da Vinci Automatic Edition “150 Years” watch. It builds on the 80000 household of moves, as those located in, say, some Aquatimer watches. The automatic 82200 operates at 4Hz using a nice 60-hour power book and includes a seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. Like other IWC movements, the 82200 utilizes the Pellaton bi-directional winding system and ceramic parts for their wear-resistance. It’s visible via a sapphire caseback, with Geneva stripes, circular graining, along with a skeletonized gold strand with an “IWC Anniversary medallion. “Together With the IWC Da Vinci Automatic Edition “150 Years” is another Da Vinci for ladies, the Da Vinci Automatic Moon Phase 36 Edition “150 Years” (Ref. IW459304) with a 36mm (of course) 18k red gold case and 206 diamonds with a cost of $29,900. It is powered by the IWC “35800” motion that’s a Sellita SW300-1 base using a moon phase display at 12 o’clock, working at 4Hz with 42 hours of power reserve.IWC is continuing to emphasize the upgraded Da Vinci by including it at its birthday celebration versions, and also an in-house movement might help capture the attention of watch fans over last year’s fundamental three-hand models employing the Sellita-based 35111. IW358102) is limited to 500 pieces, it is fairly possible that the next non-limited iteration will combine the collection soon. Price is $9,550.
As every other Pilot’s Watches created by the brand, these new models have the same retro design as the historic Big Pilot’s Watch (Calibre 52 T.S.C.) from the 1940s. The Big Pilot’s Watch Heritage is available either with a titanium case (Ref. IW501004) or with a bronze case (Ref. IW501005). However, both timepieces have a black dial and blue hands coated with luminescent material.

The edition in bronze is limited to 1,500 pieces. Both watches are driven by the IWC-manufactured calibre 52110 with a Pellaton winding system and a 7-day power reserve. A power reserve display at “3 o’clock” indicates the charging level at all times. These two new timepieces are equipped with a brown calfskin strap.
